Vice President, Clinical Operations

Heather Dula is a results-orientated executive with over 15 years of clinical research experience, including marketing, business development, patient recruitment, budgeting & contracting, and the leadership and management of a clinical research site.

Heather joined West Coast Clinical Research in 2001. Currently, Heather is Vice President of Clinical Operations and has overall responsibility for the operations of the clinical research organization. In addition, she manages and directs all corporate marketing and branding, and oversees budgeting and contracting.

Before joining West Coast Clinical Research, Heather was Executive Director of Business Development for Essential Inc., one of the top site management organizations. There she was responsible for sales & business development. She started her career in the clinical research industry at Chicago Center for Clinical Research, one of the largest research facilities in the country.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.

Manager, Clinical Research

Teri Mata is an experienced research associate with over 25 years of medical and research experience. Since joining West Coast Clinical Research in 1993 when the company began, Teri has played an active role in the development and success of the company. Teri currently oversees the day to day operations of the research staff and manages relationships with pharmaceutical and CRO clients. Teri is responsible for the implementation of clinical research studies and ensuring that the clinical research coordinators follow strict protocol adherence and drug and device accountability.

Teri received her Nursing degree and is an ACRP Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and an active member since 1997. Teri has worked in multiple therapeutic areas as well as developing relationships with new study partners.
